As a former resident of New Orleans for over 20 years,(Kenner),I am ans always will be a consummate Saints Fan. I was there when the Saints Fans were better known as Ain't s Fans, although I never did personally wear a brown paper bag over my head to attend a game.
  I was there in the Superdome when the Saints blew there chance for the playoffs in their final game of the season against the Cleveland Browns, who had not won a game all Season, yet they spoiled the Playoff hopes of the Saints that year.
 Hell, I was a little boy and remember when Tom Dempsey kicked his Record Field Goal of 63 yards...even saw him in person at the Saints camp , and got to touch his half a shoe.(It was flat in front due to Dempsey's foot being deformed).
  I have seen a lot, but the game last night against the Lions was a joy to watch! Since I am now an Idahoan, we do not get all the Saints games, but when I can , I watch. Drew Breeze was great, as were the entire team. I am thrilled to see the Team doing so well, and I will go out on a limb here, and say that I predict the Saints in the Superbowl winning , and bringing home the Trophy once again!!
 The LSU Fans will no doubt have reason to celebrate on Monday night as well, when they defeat Alabama Soundly, and bring home the Championship Trophy.
 CAn you see it, Saints Superbowl Champions, ans LSU National Champions in the same Year!! It's gonna happen, and you heard it here on Mikesfreedomblog first!!
